Sentosa’s License Renewed — With Conditions

Resorts World Sentosa’s casino licence has been renewed for another three years.

In a press release cited by the Straits Times, the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore said RWS’ new licence will come into effect on 6th February.

A spokeswoman for the agency said Resorts World’s compliance record was one of many factors considered in assessing the licence application, and improvements in this area are being sought.

“CRA has imposed additional requirements on RWS to put in place more robust structures and processes aimed at strengthening its overall compliance with our laws and regulations,” she said.
