Korea’s INSPIRE Entertainment Resort has announced an “employment-linked” winter internship program under which it will recruit around 100 participants across gaming, non-gaming and management support roles for an eight-week period, with the potential to become full-time employees at the conclusion.
The “BE INSPIRE 2027 Winter” program will see participants in the gaming area gain hands-on experience in casino gaming and slot operations and receive relevant practical training, the company explained. The non-gaming area will consist of hotel operations including concierge and leisure services, housekeeping, and limousine services, while F&B service roles will be responsible for table service and restaurant operations. F&B cook roles will handle kitchen operations, menu development and cooking.
Finally, the management support area is recruiting for procurement roles, responsible for procurement, inventory management and related tasks.
INSPIRE said the internship program will hire approximately 100 participants who have no disqualifying factors for overseas travel and are able to participate throughout the internship period, slated for 4 January to 28 February 2027.
The program follows what INSPIRE said was a successful experience-based summer internship, although the company noted that the summer internship only offered bonus points for those that applied for full-time positions whereas the winer internship is offering participants the opportunity to be considered for full-time employment based on work evaluations and a separate recruitment process.
During the internship itself, participants will also be provided dormitory accommodation if they are working 40 hours or more per week and commuter shuttle buses for others. All interns who complete the program will be given F&B vouchers usable within INSPIRE, with top-performing participants to receive INSPIRE accommodation vouchers.
An INSPIRE representative said, “As this year’s first summer internship received positive feedback from participants, we decided to hold a winter internship to continue developing young talent and providing hands-on experience at a global integrated resort.
“We look forward to strong interest and applications from talented individuals interested in the various roles of an integrated resort, including casino, hotel, F&B and corporate support.”
