With Macau’s competitive environment more challenging than ever, now is the perfect time for US-based casino technology manufacturer Acres Manufacturing Company to enter the market, according to Principal Noah Acres.
As reported by Inside Asian Gaming, Acres Manufacturing last week received approval from Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) to become one of the city’s gaming machine manufacturers, joining 26 other companies licensed to do so in the world’s biggest gaming hub.
Responding to an inquiry about the milestone, Acres said, “Our technology gives operators real-time player data and the ability to act on it with personalized incentives, loyalty and bonuses across slots, electronic table games and live tables.
“Recent trends have shown that operators can use real-time, data-driven marketing strategies to gain market share, and in Macau every 1% of market share represents roughly US$300 million in annual gaming revenue.
“This makes today the ideal moment for Acres to enter the Macau gaming market, and we’re thankful to the DICJ for granting us this license.”
The DICJ released in April its list of 26 approved gaming machine manufacturers, with their current approval valid until 31 March 2027.
