Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd’s Jeju integrated resort, Jeju Dream Tower, recorded casino sales of KRW48.7 billion (US$31.2 million) in June, up 36.1% year-on-year and just 1.4% lower than May – which was the company’s fourth highest monthly sales figure of all time.
According to information filed with the Korea Exchange on Wednesday, the June figures include a 37.4% year-on-year increase and 0.4% sequential increase in table game sales to KRW47.2 billion (US$30.3 million), while machine sales – while up compared to June 2025 – fell by 37.3% month-on-month. This was on an 8.2% sequential increase in casino drop to KRW224.6 billion (US$144 million).
Hotel sales were up 17.6% year-on-year and 7.2% month-on-month to KRW8.03 billion (US$5.15 million).
The June result brought Jeju Dream Tower’s casino sales for the first half of 2026 to KRW265.7 billion (US$170 million), up 36.6% compared with the same period last year.
Opened into the heart of the COVID pandemic in 2022, Jeju Dream Tower took some time to gain traction but since early 2025 has seen its casino sales more than double. The momentum has been attributed to a rebound in international tourism to Jeju Island and particularly from mainland China on the back of improved relations and friendly visa policies.
Analysts from SK Securities stated recently that Jeju Dream Tower had entered a “structural transformation of its fundamental nature” after reaching its first full-year profit in 2025.
