MGM China welcomed an average of 58,000 guests to its Macau integrated resorts in 2025, including a record-high footfall of 111,000 visits on 31 December, according to comments by the group’s Chairperson and Executive Director, Pansy Ho.
The impressive figures formed part of her Chairperson’s Statement in the company’s 2025 Annual Report, released Monday, with the 58,000 guests visiting MGM COTAI and MGM MACAU representing a 14% improvement over 2024.
According to Ho, MGM’s 2025 performance – which included an 11% rise in operating revenue to HK$34.8 billion (US$4.44 billion) and 10% increase in Adjusted EBITDA to HK$10 million (US$1.28 billion), highlight the strength of Macau’s premium mass market of which MGM MACAU and MGM COTAI are “competitively positioned.”
“For MGM China, 2025 was also a year of extraordinary milestones,” Ho stated. “We reached new heights in operational excellence, market share and community contributions, underscoring the strength of our strategy and, more importantly, the dedication of our team.
“Our market share also climbed to a new high of 16.1%, up from 15.8% in 2024 and almost double our pre-pandemic level, capturing growth across various business segments.
“Our properties remain dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences, blending world-class hospitality with innovative offerings. In 2025, MGM MACAU introduced a total of 28 beautifully crafted Alpha Villas. Together with the launch of Alpha Club also at the Macau property and the completion of other refurbishment projects, we are elevating the experience of premium customers by responding to emerging preferences and trends.”
Ho also revealed that MGM’s arts and cultural programs – including Poly MGM Museum, resident show Macau 2049, exhibitions at Fantasy Box and revitalization of the Barra District – attracted 826,000 visitors in 2025.
