South Korea’s Paradise Co saw its casino revenue reach KRW89.5 billion (US$61.2 million) in February, representing a 24.4% year-on-year – although slightly down on the KRW91.7 billion (US$62.7 million) reported in January.
However, the company may have played lucky given that casino drop of KRW525.6 billion (US$359 million) was only 1.9% higher than the same month in 2025 and was 15.3% lower than in January.
February’s result included a 25.5% year-on-year increase in table games revenue to KRW85.0 billion (US$58.1 million), while machine revenue was up 6.2% versus February 2025 at KRW4.52 billion (US$3.1 million). This was down 9.0% on January.
The company recently reported total casino revenue of KRW900.5 billion (US$623 million) in FY25, representing a 9.9% increase compared with 2024.
Paradise operates three casinos in Seoul, Busan and Jeju as well as holding a controlling 55% stake in Incheon integrated resort Paradise City – a joint venture with Japan’s Sega Sammy Holdings.
