Inside Asian Gaming has announced that the first edition of networking social event Macau After Dark for 2026, MAD 35, will be held on Tuesday 21 April at Italian seafood and steak house Aurora at Altira.
This is the first time IAG has held a MAD event at Altira, located in the busy Taipa area.
Aurora offers inspired and healthy Italian cuisine, lovingly crafted and served with heart. Aurora’s talented chefs select the highest quality organic produce, sustainable seafood and proteins from around the world, elevating each dish through premium and natural seasonings, and infusing them with the authentic flavors of Italy. Signature dishes include oysters and seafood platters sourced directly from their place of origin, a secret recipe pizza made with organic flour, handmade pastas and tortellini, sustainable seafood baked to perfection and prime-grade steaks.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the restaurant’s selection of cellared wines or indulgent cocktails, accompanied by breathtaking views of Macau through the floor-to-ceiling windows, or in the fresh air of the terrace for a truly Italian experience.

Debuting back in early 2019, MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in the Asian gaming hubs of Macau and Manila. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The event rotates around the region’s best hospitality venues – some well-known and some hidden gems.
Due to its enormous popularity, MAD is strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
