The CEO of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport says a special VVIP terminal for high-end guests of Wynn Al Marjan Island is being planned as part of its efforts to aid tourism to the region.
Speaking with local media outlet Arabian Gulf Business Insight (AGBI), Manish Seth said the new VVIP terminal would comprise a 1,500-square meter terminal space, an 8,000-square meter multi-purpose hangar and a 9,000-square meter apron and aircraft parking, to be developed in partnership with Falcon Executive Aviation to cater to Wynn’s exclusive guests.
The terminal will, he explained, include a “Royal lounge, four VVIP lounges, premium hospitality areas and an environment tailored to the needs of discreet, high-profile travellers.”
Wynn itself hopes to attract around one million visitors to its IR annually.

Seth’s comments come after Ras Al Khaimah International Airport surpassed one million passengers for the first time in 2025, representing a 51% increase over the previous year. Seth, however, is eying far greater growth with a goal of reaching 1.5 million passengers by 2027 – aided by the opening of Wynn’s lavish new integrated resort.
The airport is preparing for the influx by revamping its existing terminal and building another capable of handling up to 4.5 million passengers.
“The endeavour … is to achieve the same feat [as in 2025] in the next two years,” Seth said – pointing to Ras Al Khaimah’s efforts to attract 3.5 million visitors by 2030.
Wynn Al Marjan island, will, he added, “help us build traffic.”
The refurbished terminal at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport will have capacity for 1.2 million passengers while the new 30,000 square-foot terminal will be capable of handling 4.5 million on its own, with construction expected to begin this year, AGBI reports.
It is unclear when work will begin on the VVIP terminal.
