Macau’s Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) announced Tuesday a salary increase for around 98% of its workforce.
A week after declaring a one-month discretionary bonus for team members, GEG said an additional salary adjustment will take effect in April for eligible team members who joined the company before 1 January this year.
Those with a monthly base salary and guaranteed tips of MOP$16,000 (US$2,000) or below will receive an increment of MOP$500 (US$62.50) while those with a monthly base salary and guaranteed tips above MOP$16,000 will receive a 2% salary increase.
GEG expressed its gratitude to team members for their hard work and contributions, stating that it looks forward to continuing to work together with the belief of “One Team, One Goal”.
The company announced last week a discretionary bonus equivalent to one month’s salary for eligible employees, to be paid on 9 February and benefiting approximately 97% of team members.
