JOINTLY ANNOUNCED:
31 December 2024 at Macau 11pm and Las Vegas 7am.

Inside Asian Gaming and CDC Gaming are delighted to announce that the merger of the two companies, as announced on Monday 7 October at 4pm in Las Vegas (Tuesday 8 October 7am in Macau), has now officially completed.

The two companies now operate under their newly formed common corporate parent, Complete Media Group (CMG), with the first full day of merged operations being tomorrow, 1 January 2025.

The original merger announcement may be viewed here and here. It includes key points in relation to the merger and the planned post-merger operations of IAG and CDC Gaming.

The merger creates the first truly global gaming media and events company with 20+ years of experience physically based in the world’s top two integrated resort and terrestrial gaming markets: the United States and Macau.

IAG and CDC Gaming will continue to operate under their existing brand names in their respective markets, just as they have done for 20+ years, including six years as strategic partners, giving credence to Complete Media Group’s philosophy of “Regional expertise, worldwide”.

IAG Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Andrew W Scott remains in those roles and also becomes Chief Executive Officer of Complete Media Group. CDC Gaming Publisher Cory Roberts remains in that role and becomes Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer of the combined group, which now has around 50 team members.

Complete Media Group CEO Andrew W Scott said, “First of all, Happy New Year to everyone! And it will indeed be a very happy new year for IAG and CDC Gaming as we kick off the year with our merger now complete. Our teams on both sides of the Pacific are very excited about the possibilities this merger creates not only for our own companies but most importantly for our clients and the IR industries in the US and Asia.”

Complete Media Group COO and CTO Cory Roberts said, “Spending time in Macau attending meetings with the entire Inside Asian Gaming team this November was energizing and further illustrated our companies’ business compatibility. Andrew’s most recent time in the US served a similar purpose, meeting CDC Gaming team members, and building relationships that will drive our company forward as we operate on both sides of the Pacific.”

Scott added, “My visits to the US throughout 2024 meeting the CDC Gaming team and Cory’s recent visit to Macau could not have gone better. This merger approximately doubles the size of our respective companies, and that increase in scale will allow us to launch a number of exciting new initiatives in Asia and the Americas in 2025. Stay tuned!”
