Foreigner-only casino operator Grand Korea Leisure reported casino revenue of KRW41.4 billion (US$28.2 million) in March, up 27.7% month-on-month and 2.6% year-on-year.
GKL’s casino revenue comprised a 28.2% sequential increase in table revenue to KRW38.4 billion (US$26.2 million) and a 22.0% rise in slots revenue to KRW3.0 billion (US$2.04 million). This came on the back of a 14.5% month-on-month increase in drop amount to KRW299.0 billion (US$204 million).
Casino revenue for the first three months of 2025 combined sits at KRW108.2 billion (US$73.8 million), up 15.6% on the same period last year.
Table drop of KRW826.9 billion (US$564 million) through March is down 9.7%% year-on-year.
March proved to be the best month of the year so far for GKL and follows a similar trend at fellow foreigner-only casino operators Paradise Co and Lotte Tour, who both reported strong revenue increases for the month.
GKL operates three casinos in South Korea and Seoul and Busan under the Seven Luck brand.
