Global gaming supplier Light and Wonder will showcase 34 different game families across five different gaming cabinets, plus its suite of next-generation solutions and its table hardware innovations, at ICE Barcelona next week.

The world’s largest trade show, moving to Spain from London for the first time this year, will be held at Fira Barcelona Gran Via from 20 to 22 January 2025, with Light & Wonder to be found at stand #3D30.

“ICE represents an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the depth and breadth of our portfolio and our commitment to offering our customers solutions to support their continued success,” said the company’s President and CEO, Matt Wilson. “From proven proprietary content such as Huff n’ Puff that continues to captivate players worldwide, to our cutting-edge iGaming innovations that enhance digital gaming experiences, our robust portfolio showcases our ability to deliver unforgettable player experiences across all channels.”

On show in Barcelona will be 34 distinct game families across five cabinets. Among those game families are a raft of iterations of Huff n’ Puff, as well as the new Lion Link Fortune, which offers players an exciting Hold & Spin feature and an innovative secondary bonus round.

Attendees can also experience other innovative titles within the booth such as Rich Little Sheep, Invaders Attack Again from the Planet Moolah, Voodoo Jackpots and Lightning Gongs.

In cabinets, Light & Wonder’s Cosmic Upright will make its debut at ICE, featuring a 49-inch Ultra HD 4K LCD curved screen, enhanced player interaction capabilities and sleek lighting features. According to the company, the Cosmic Upright is designed to deliver a truly immersive experience. The cabinet will launch with a dedicated library of games that modernize iconic franchises, including Huff n’ Puff Highrise, Dancing Drums Link and Ultimate Fire Link Triple Nova.

Light & Wonder will also present a suite of next-generation solutions aimed at driving operational excellence and enhancing the player journey. At the forefront is Light & Wonder Canvas, a fully customizable, highly configurable web-based dashboard that unifies all Light & Wonder system applications into one platform. With all Light & Wonder applications moving to a web-based format, Light & Wonder Canvas simplifies day-to-day operations for casino operators and enhances productivity, while also providing a tailored interface for a more seamless experience, the company explained.

Light & Wonder’s system agnostic solution, L&W Engage, which can evolve and elevate the patron loyalty experience regardless of an existing casino management system, will be another focus at ICE Barcelona. L&W Engage and Engage AI enable operators to provide one-on-one marketing and loyalty to their customers.

Additionally, Light & Wonder is bringing cutting-edge cardless and identification technology to L&W product applications and the casino floor, offering features such as facial recognition and Near-Field Communication, which further revolutionizes the player experience by allowing instant interaction with slots and tables without the need for physical cards.

Finally, Light & Wonder’s tables team will present innovative tables solutions such as Shufflestar, a market leader in continuous shuffling for multi-deck games. Its advanced features include Dual-Camera card recognition, an ergonomic design and fast and secure dealing of four to eight decks at up to three cards per second.

Also on display will be the Quartz hybrid, a revolutionary hybrid gaming platform enabling players to wager on up to eight live or automated games simultaneously. Features include a 26.5” HD touchscreen, an immersive design and seamless switching between live dealer and fully automated modes. The machine houses a unique portfolio of table games including Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Three Card Poker, Casino War, Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and more.

Attendees will also get a firsthand look at the GM Atlas Progressive, which enhances table jackpots with multi-level options, advanced bonus features, and detailed reporting. Its cutting-edge hardware is compatible with all live table games including roulette.
