Manila’s Newport World Resorts (NWR) has announced it will launch Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines – the first ever offering from multi-Michelin-starred English chef in the Philippines – this month with reservations now open to the public.
In a statement, Newport World Resorts Chairman Kevin L. Tan said the launch comes after he recently met with Ramsay in Macau.
“Having personally met Chef Ramsay at The Londoner in Macao, his larger-than-life personality and our shared enthusiasm in opening one of the most sought-after restaurants in the culinary world strengthens our position as the most multifaceted integrated resort in the country, leading the way in elevated dining experiences for all our guests.”
Located on the second floor of the Newport Grand Wing, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines at Newport World Resorts will be one of the biggest restaurants in the 25-hectare property, occupying 400 square meters and with capacity for up to 100 seated guests.
While the full menu has not yet been revealed, NWR said it will showcase British classics such as “Gordon Ramsay’s iconic Beef Wellington, perfectly grilled steaks, fresh market seafood, and a delightful array of sides and desserts. Alongside the exciting culinary menu, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill hosts a remarkable bar experience for its guests, offering high-end wines from around the world, sought-after spirits and expertly hand-crafted cocktails.”
Bookings are available from today (Tuesday 20 August 2024).
