Leading test lab Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has announced former Star Entertainment Group and Sportingbet executive Richard Howarth its new Chief Business Officer for the APAC region.
The company said this week that Howarth will spearhead business growth strategies for GLI’s labs in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Macau. He will also be responsible for directing client relationships with suppliers, operators, regulators, and industry bodies and ensuring alignment with delivery teams to meet the standards and expectations of the global gaming industry.

According to GLI. Howarth most recently Howarth served as Chief Business Officer – Enterprise Technology Sales for IXUP Limited/BetStop, a technology company that creates responsible gaming products.
He previously served as Executive General Manager, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Affairs for Trippas White Group, and has also served as General Manager, Sales, Marketing and Events for The Star Entertainment Group; as Executive Director Sales, Marketing, Strategy for Sportingbet; and as Managing Director of Proxy Consulting, a marketing and technology strategy company which he founded.
