Inside Asian Gaming is delighted to announce global gaming suppliers Light & Wonder as Diamond Sponsor and Aristocrat Gaming, Macau Slot and IGT as Gold Sponsors of the upcoming edition of Macau After Dark, MAD 21, to be held on the evening of Friday 15 December 2023.

This is the final event to be held by IAG in 2023.

They join venue sponsor Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, which will host Macau After Dark at Vasco Bar & Lounge. Well established in the heart of Macau, the upscale urban and lifestyle resort Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau offers a window into the city’s culturally rich heritage. The name “Grand Lapa” draws inspiration from the prestigious Lapa district in Lisbon, Portugal, where celebrities and aristocrats reside. As a true homegrown brand, the hotel celebrates Macau’s remarkable heritage in a tasteful and stylish manner.

The theme of MAD 21 is “Mad Santa” with guests invited to join Inside Asian Gaming to celebrate the end of another year while enjoying all this wonderful venue has to offer.

“The MAD events in Manila and Macau throughout 2023 have provided our team at IGT with the opportunity to network with key industry stakeholders and discuss the successes, challenges and opportunities within our industry”, said Michael Cheers, IGT Sales Director Asia. “We look forward to celebrating with business partners and industry colleagues at the last MAD event for this year and wish everyone season’s greetings and best wishes for a mutually prosperous new year.”

Sociedade de lotarias e Apostas Mutuas de Macau, Lda (SLOT) was founded in 1989 and was the first government-franchised company to offer the sale of instant lottery tickets on board the ferries running between Hong Kong and Macau. In 1998, prior to the World Cup, SLOT was granted the franchise from the Macau Government to offer soccer betting. This was followed by a government-franchise for basketball betting in December 2000. Thus, SLOT became the first government-franchised company in Asia to operate a sports betting business.

“We are glad to participate in IAG’s Macau After Dark event again,” said Macau Slot CEO, Mr Stephen Ho. “The event provides us a perfect platform for updated industry news sharing, which drives our business to another service level. I am looking forward to meeting all our friends in the field and cheering for a delightful evening.”

Debuting in early 2019, MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in the Asian gaming hubs of Macau and Manila. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. The event rotates around the region’s best hospitality venues – some well-known and some hidden gems.

Due to its enormous popularity, MAD is strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
