Leading casino gaming brand in the Philippines FBM Group and its FBM Foundation continue to make a significant difference in Filipino communities affected by natural disasters and facing educational challenges.
From its earliest days, FBM Foundation arranged 26 distinct humanitarian initiatives, each strategically designed to respond to a wide spectrum of challenges faced by the Filipino people. These projects reflect the organizations’ commitment to uplifting lives and providing hope when it is needed most.
The endeavors have directly touched the lives of 28,330 people, leaving an indelible mark of positive change. Beyond social contributions, FBM Foundation has donated over Php23 million (US$405,000) in funds and distributed 58,633 essential goods to alleviate the immediate and long-term burdens faced by those in need.
This year alone, 12 solidarity actions were undertaken in cities such as Bulacan, Manila, Parañaque, Quezon and more, encompassing a broad spectrum of challenges and demonstrating the brand’s commitment to addressing the unique needs of Filipino communities.
These actions have included:
– FBM Foundation welcomed the new year by initiating the “Building a Champion by a Champion” project, aimed at promoting educational change among Filipino students, with solidarity actions taking place in Rizal and Manila;
– The Bayanihan para sa Kababayan program started in Manila in January with the provision of essential goods and hygiene kits as well as emotional support in Manila, This was followed by other initiatives in Malate, Cavite, Quezon and Parañaque, making a real impact in the lives of over 2,000 Filipinos.
– On 18 August 2023, FBM Foundation held a relief operation under the “FBM Tulong sa Pagsulong” initiative, providing immediate aid to communities grappling with the aftermath of typhoons and natural calamities;
– FBM Foundation played a pivotal role in constructing 90 new houses in Barangay Old Capitol Site, Quezon City, providing hope and stability to 170 families in need of shelter;
– Mother’s Day in 2023 held special significance as FBM Foundation extended support to Mrs Maria Regina Argayoso, a single mother battling Thyroid Cancer. Her story touched hearts and exemplified the transformative impact of our initiatives;
– FBM Foundation offered Php1 million (US$17,600) in funding to support Philippine General Hospital patients
