Melco International Development Ltd, the parent company of Macau concessionaire Melco Resorts, has reelected its President and Managing Director, Evan Winkler, as an Executive Director.
Winkler received 99.71% of votes in support at Friday’s Annual General Meeting, continuing his growing tenure after joining Melco from global investment bank Moelis & Company in 2016.
Also re-elected as an Executive Director was Clarence Chung, who received 97.01% of votes in the affirmative and is now rapidly closing in on 20 years on the Melco International Board, having first been appointed back in 2006.
Karuna Shinsho remains as a non-executive director.
Their collective reelection comes at a busy time for Melco, whose Macau-based subsidiary recently launched Studio City Phase 2 and is preparing for the opening of its €550 million City of Dreams Mediterranean in Cyprus in July.
It is also continuing to ramp up its Macau operations following the easing of COVID-19 border restrictions in January.
