More than 7,300 delegates took part in the Australasian Gaming Expo as the show last week returned to ICC Sydney for the first time in three years.
Featuring over 220 exhibitors across 9,000 square meters of exhibition space, AGE 2022 was also the first for recently appointed CEO of show organizer the Gaming Technologies Association, Jinesh Patel, who commented, “We’d like to extend a huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who made AGE 2022 another stand-out event. We’re thrilled with the quality of visitors, the enthusiasm of the exhibitors and the professionalism of our venue host, ICC Sydney.”
AGE also featured a robust two-day seminar program, which included two panel sessions organized and moderated by Inside Asian Gaming, which was Official Media and Production Partner in 2022.
“We were delighted to see our seminar programs, featuring industry experts, draw large audiences across the three days,” Patel said.

There were winners in more ways than one at this year’s show, with Hunter Valley winery Tempus Two taking home the shell scheme ‘Best Stand’ award and Industric the new ‘Steve Cowan Memorial Award’, presented to a new exhibitor for innovation and participation in the industry. The award was named after the popular former Managing Director of Paltronics Australasia, who sadly passed away in April 2020.
Three lucky AGE visitors also won a free trip to Las Vegas to attend Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in October.
“AGE strives to deliver a bigger and better show year on year for all our stakeholders,” said Patel. “With a core focus on technology and the sustainability of the gaming industry, we believe 2022 has delivered maximum value and a satisfying experience for visitors, exhibitors and sponsors.”
AGE is scheduled to return next year for its 32nd year from 15 to 17 August 2023.
