The Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA) – representing Macau’s gaming industry suppliers and manufacturers – has announced the return of the MGS Summit this year, to be held on Wednesday 16 November 2022.
The one-day event is currently planned to be an online-only summit, subject to the development of pandemic-related travel and event restrictions in Macau. The summit will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to discover the latest industry happenings in Macau and across Southeast Asia as we map the path forward from COVID-19.
MGEMA is also pleased to announced that it has appointed leading Asian gaming industry media brand Inside Asian Gaming as Official Lead Media and Production Partner to assist with the organization and production of the MGS Summit. IAG will play a major role in producing the conference program and hosting MGS Summit on the day.
IAG will also be heavily involved in marketing the show through its extensive print and digital channels before and during the event, including IAG magazine, IAG Breakfast Briefing, IAG’s website staging.asgam.com, IAG social media channels such as its LinkedIn account with over 22,800 followers, eDM marketing and more.
“It is wonderful to have MGS Summit back again in 2022,” said MGEMA Chairman, Jay Chun.
“The summit will provide valuable insights into the state of the industry. We’re excited to be working alongside IAG and are confident that MGS Summit 2022 will be a remarkable event as we embrace a new decade for the Macau and Asian gaming industry.”
IAG Vice-Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott said, “IAG has been involved with MGS since its inception in 2013 and has watched the show evolve significantly over the years. Likewise, the MGEMA has itself evolved in the past decade and plays an important role in promoting the interests of industry suppliers in Macau.
“The MGEMA is to be congratulated for presenting the MGS Summit in the past two years despite the challenges created by the pandemic and we look forward to providing our own expertise to contribute towards a memorable MGS Summit in 2022.”
