CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Paradise Entertainment Ltd

POWER SCORE: 624
POSITION LAST YEAR: 39

CLAIMS TO FAME
• Founder of Macau gaming equipment manufacturer LT Game
• Changed the face of Macau’s casino floors with his Live Multi Game Machines

Jay Chun is the man behind LT Game’s Live Multi-Game (LMG) terminals, a game-changer for Macau’s casino operators given the cap on gaming tables imposed by the government.

As the majority shareholder in Paradise Entertainment Group, Chun oversaw a  5% increase in revenue to HK$592 million from its electronic gaming equipment segment in 1H19, overcoming a slight dip in GGR derived from casino management services: Paradise operates two casinos in Macau with Kam Pek Paradise Casino under license from SJM and Waldo Casino under license from Galaxy.

Paradise reported a 79% increase in revenue for the period from the sale of electronic gaming equipment and systems to HK$89.3 million, primarily from the sale of 461 LMG terminals and provision of upgrading services to 605 LMG terminals at various casinos in Macau.

But beyond LMG sales, Paradise is trying to diversify its portfolio with a strong investment in R&D in the first half of the year that aims to debut self-developed slot machines in Macau, Southeast Asia and the Americas.

Chun is also founder of Macau gaming equipment manufacturer LT Game and of the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association, which organizes the annual MGS Entertainment Show each November.
