Internet platform provider Garena has announced that the 2018 League of Legends Master Series (LMS) Final will be held at Macau’s Studio City on 22 April 2018. The final will follow a huge weekend of playoffs on Saturday 14 April and Sunday 15 April at Garena eSports Stadium in Taipei. The playoffs will comprise a best-of-five match format and will be contested by four teams in a seeded, winner-advances-style battle for prize money and championship points.

The 2018 LMS Spring Final will mark the first time that the event has taken place in Macau and will also be the largest eSports event to be held in Macau this year.

The Studio City Event Center boasts state-of-the-art acoustics, the latest in stage technology and a cutting-edge satellite-broadcasting infrastructure for live international transmissions. The venue has a capacity of 3,000 seats available for the LMS Spring Playoffs.

The winning team in the LMS Spring Split Team Prize will receive a cash prize of NT$1.5 million, as well as qualifying for the 2018 Mid-Season Invitational Play-In. Semifinal tickets went on sale via Family Port at 18:00 on Monday 2 April, while tickets for the final went on sale at 12:00 on Tuesday 3 April via the official website of Studio City, Macau. Tickets are also available from Hong Kong Ticketing.
