Annually, MGM provides more than 57,400 training places for its team members with an average of over 45 training hours per team member. The Graduation commencement was held at MGM Macau’s Grand Ballroom, witnessing the graduation of team members from core developmental programs including MGM Management Associate Program (MAP) & PRIDE Career Development programs, MGM Academy and MGM Continuing Education. In addition, two awards were presented at the event: the “MGM Outstanding Learner Award” was presented to Gavin Lei Chi, Table Games Pit Manager, while the “MGM Outstanding Learning Department Award” was presented to the Facilities Management Operations & Engineering department.
“Investing in team members by encouraging and enabling innovative talent development is a key component to promote the Company’s success,” said MGM China CEO, Mr Grant Bowie. “I would like to express our deepest gratitude to all parties that have put in their time, resources and talent to supporting our training programs. I am confident that each of our team members possesses unique strengths and individual skills that will continue to elevate MGM’s best-in-class services and experiences, leading us to new levels of excellence for our offerings to the public, for a sustainable future as we continue to position Macau as a world leisure and tourism destination.”
