WMS offers a feast for the senses with flavors specially crafted to satisfy a range of Asian tastes

Continuing its commitment to the Asian market, WMS is bringing to G2E Asia a lineup of more than 30 games featuring an array of unique and dynamic entertainment experiences.

“Engaging Players. Delivering Results,” the motto of the US-based slot giant, translates into a diversity of game content on a range of stylishly functional cabinet configurations bolstered by a significant number of new math models that address player demand for varied gaming experiences—and all of it is supported by the power of the advanced CPU-NXT2 and NXT3 operating systems.

Boldly styled and immediately eyecatching, the new Blade cabinet is already making an impact in North America, thanks to the player insights and operator feedback that played an integral role in its design, and it will be shown in Asia this month for the first time along with a library of exclusive game content developed specifically to satisfy the diverse preferences of the region.

“With appealing aesthetics forged to support the robust capabilities of the CPU-NXT3 operating system on highly competitive and geographically diverse slot floors, Blade themes are delivering extraordinary performance,” says Kristi Krasovetz, senior manager of International Marketing Communications.

The variety of products WMS will be showing reflects the importance to the company of the Asia-Pacific market, she says.

On display will be an array of games for the CPU-NXT2 platform. Several are being shown in Asia for the first time, among them selections from the Game Chest Multi-Game series, WMS’ first multi-game series designed for customers outside the United States, along with Double Money Burst and several titles from the popular Colossal Reels and G+ Deluxe series.

This year’s show lineup also will feature two premium licensed games—Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory and Spider-Man.

Spider-Man is a Sensory Immersion 2.0 game that leverages the interactive excitement of D-BOX Technologies’ synchronized motion chair and the theater-quality sound and graphics of the CPUNXT3 to deliver an unforgettable game experience.

Spider-Man is a “dual-array game” that provides reel-spinning video action across two full 5×3 reel layouts along with six random “Spider-Sense” features and exciting bonus rounds that include video and audio clips from the popular Hollywood franchise.

Player insights and operator feedback played an intergral role in the new Blade cabinet’s design.

With Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, another Sensory Immersion 2.0 offering, players get to explore the “Scrumdidilyumptious” joy of pursuing a jackpot by finding a “Golden Ticket” hidden in a “Wonka Bar” while the odds of finding it increase each time the jackpot is not won. And a ride on the “Chocolate River Boat” comes to life thanks to the trademark graphics, superior play mechanics and advanced touchscreen functionalities, all synchronized with the excitement of the D-BOX motion chair. Even the game’s “Wonkavator” feature, the free-spin trigger used to determine which bonus round will be awarded, is motion-enabled.

Several standouts in the Colossal Reels series also will be on display. Colossal Reels has quickly become a top performer for WMS by virtue of the widescreen capabilities of the Bluebird2e and Bluebird xD cabinets and the power of the CPU-NXT2 platform. The series features two reel sets—traditional and oversized— that transfer wild symbols between reels.

The series has been expanded this year, and two of its new game themes and math models will be featured at G2E Asia.
