Smarter, Faster, Too

‘Intelligent Validation’ defines JCM Global’s commitment to providing the solutions that keep the games running smoothly and profitably

For JCM Global it’s all about helping casino operators do business better, smarter and faster, and at G2E Asia the company will be showcasing the award-winning “Intelligent Validation” solutions that make good on that commitment.

The star attraction will be the iV8, the powerful table-side validator that verifies banknotes at an amazing rate of eight per second, speeding up game play, dramatically increasing the number of potential hands per hour and protecting against counterfeiting, dealer error and fraud.

Developed specifically for high-volume markets like Macau, the iV8 processes a “brick” of 40 notes in seconds— from presentation to storage—in stackable cash boxes. Buy-ins are inserted directly into an adjoining tray where every bill is validated and counted and the total value displayed for all to see. The main tray holds up to 200 validated bills and automatically rejects suspect notes by moving them during tabulation into a separate tray capable of holding up to 50 bills.

Also in the spotlight this year will be an improved version of JCM’s award-winning iVIZION bill validator, which captures the entire image of a banknote or ticket and provides an acceptance rate of better than 99% and an unrivaled level of security. The iVIZION’s currency fluency makes it an especially compelling fit for the region’s diverse markets. It’s available in models that process Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Australian dollars, and patacas, yuan, ringgit, rupees, pesos and won and can accept multiple currencies depending on the needs of the local market.

Building on this foundation of “Intelligent Validation” is DNA, Dynamic Network Applications, which empowers operators with real-time reports and alerts and can even enable regulators to instantly verify peripheral devices, software versions, view reports and more. A bundled enhancement tool, DNA puts control and information in the operators’ hands while eliminating time-wasting procedures so that faster and smarter decisions can be made. It provides extensive reports in real time and delivers firmware updates instantly, with no downtime, across an entire casino floor. It’s impressively flexible, too, functioning as both a wireless and hard-wired system, invisibly monitoring a machine’s SAS line for critical housekeeping data while securing two-way communication with all peripheral components.

JCM also will be showing its iPRO and iPRO-RC bill validators and its floor-proven Universal Bill Acceptor, Vega-RC bill validators and Intelligent Cash Box.

The Sentry 2 smart bezel also will be on display, featuring multicolor LED indicators listing up to six denominations and providing a range of alerts, including error indicators, a general fault indicator and a cashbox-full indicator, and a last-bill denomination indicator for settling disputes.

Rounding out the exhibit will be the award-winning PayCheck 4 thermal printer, which creates a TITO voucher in only 0.6 seconds. The PayCheck 4 packs 8MB of standard memory so it’s capable of storing more fonts, images, logos and bar codes, which translates into almost limitless opportunities for casinos to personalize their players’ gaming experience. And it’s durable, with a usable lifespan of approximately 640,000 slot-type tickets and a diagnostic USB port for enabling quick troubleshooting in the field. It’s also upgradeable, with parts that can be hot-swapped for minimal downtime.
