Interblock’s stand at last months G2E

Average Slovenia’s Interblock didn’t fail to impress at the Global Gaming Expo. Apart from presenting some of the most visually appealing products at the show, the company also put on a special demonstration of leading-edge technology for VIP eyes only

Interblock’s booth setup at last month’s G2E featured a sizeable area reserved for private viewing by only the company’s most loyal customers.

One restricted section housed the VIP Hologram Gaming Lounge, where Interblock showcased cutting-edge holographic projection technology and demonstrated how it could be integrated with electronic video table games to convey the action in a thoroughly engaging manner, with leggy, life-size 3D virtual models rolling giant dice and flipping oversized cards to reveal the results.

The exclusive holographic showcase continues Interblock’s tradition of marrying the latest tech innovations with slick, eyecatching design and presentation to supply products that truly stand out from those of its competitors.

Tina Ferko, Interblock’s public relations manager, explained that the Interblock VIP Hologram Gaming Lounge platform is set to be the future of gaming entertainment, and is built in partnership with Musion Systems Ltd from the UK. Musion owns and has the exclusive master global license for the Eyeliner™ projection system and is a global leader in the development, marketing, production and broadcasting of high-def 3D holographic video projections. Interblock enjoys the exclusive license to apply the technology to gaming floors.

Also on display behind closed doors at the Interblock stand was the update to its popular G4 multi-player product range. Called G4 Diamond Series, the updates take Interblock’s offer to new heights in terms of luxurious looks and ease of use, and also feature new games, which will only be revealed to the general public next year.

In full public view at G2E was the rest of Interblock’s attractive fourth generation multi-player product range in various configurations, with multi-game functionality allowing players to flip between different games. Highlights included:

• G4 Organic Roulette, with the eight player terminals laid out in a popular football-shaped configuration.

• G4 Organic Virtual, which offers virtual or video simulation of results for a variety of table games and horseracing.

• G4 Organic Twins, which allows operators to select between any combination of available games: roulette (single or double zero), dice (craps or sic bo) and video games.

• G4 Organic Bartop, allowing players to access any offered game right on the bar countertops.

• G4 Organic Live Pulse—also known as Pulse Arena—which was named “Best Multi-Terminal Innovation” at Inside Asian Gaming’s 2012 Supplier Awards. The recently launched G4 Organic Live Pulse is the arena-style version of Interblock’s Organic games platform and provides casino operators with anything from tens to hundreds of terminals served by only a handful of human dealers.

Interblock recently expanded its footprint to South Africa and South America and has made several other high-profile installations over the past few months, including in the US at Resorts World New York, where 570 player terminals in total have been installed, in Germany at the refurbished Hohensyburg Casino and at the prestigious UK Hippodrome Casino in London. Ms Ferko points out that “even though the recession is still going on, price is no longer placed as the most important thing when deciding what to put on the casino floor. Good, reliable and high-tech products are the ones that generate profits and count at the end, and customers recognize these features in Interblock products.”

The Asia market presents a lot of potential, given it remains largely stable despite the economic slowdown in the West, and the acceptance of electronic table games appears to be picking up rapidly.

“Asia is open for new things. They have always strived for progress and we believe that Interblock with its new Hologram project can offer them exactly that,” commented Ms Ferko.
