NRT's QuickTouch

NRT Technology Corp’s keen focus on meeting evolving market needs underlies its position as the world’s leading supplier of cash-handling kiosk solutions to the casino industry

When Marina Bay Sands (MBS) sought an efficient system to collect the otherwise cumbersome entry fee it needs to levy on local Singapore residents wishing to visit its casino, NRT stepped in with the answer. The QuickTouch self-service kiosks placed at the entrances to the MBS casino validate the identity of local Singaporeans, display payment options, process payment (cash, debit or credit) and confirm transaction status to a Host System.

The QuickTouch product reflects NRT’s commitment to creating leading-edge solutions that satisfy clients’ needs for optimal flexibility, strict compliance, high ROI and improved productivity. According to the company, the QuickTouch solution “emphasizes a small footprint, easy configurability, elegant styling and ease of use at a reduced cost.” Its versatility allows users to purchase tickets, redeem points, make reservations, manage loyalty accounts, buy stored-value cards and perform authorized inquiries. Development of the special QuickTouch kiosks for use in Singapore was the result of a close partnership between NRT and MBS over ten months.

At G2E Asia 2012, in addition to QuickTouch, NRT will showcase two other new products that have resulted from its intense R&D efforts and consultation with its casino customers:

• QuickJack V4 is the fourth generation of NRT’s legacy QJ-classic kiosk solution. It incorporates the latest hardware technology, system management capabilities and user functions, including the easy integration of the Ticket Printing function.

• QuickJack88 is a versatile new kiosk solution that addresses the needs of smaller casinos for simplicity, good value, easy adoption and high functionality. Combined with NRT’s Hosted CHS system, this product eliminates the high investment required for DBMS licenses, infrastructure cost and specialized IT experts to manage the DBMS.

According to Art Ayow, NRT’s V.P. of International Sales, “these products clearly demonstrate our in-depth understanding of the gaming industry and NRT’s continual commitment to invest in R&D. More importantly, it shows that we are listening to our clients and are focused on delivering real ‘bottom line’ value to them.”
