WMS set to Unleash Imagination™ at G2E Asia
WMS Gaming Inc. will showcase 35 innovative games designed for local markets at G2E Asia in Macau—backed for the first time in Asia by the power of the company’ Portal Applications. Put simply, for WMS a game isn’t just an interface between a player and a piece of gaming hardware. A WMS game is the front door to a technological world that adds value for players and casino operators alike. That’s why WMS will headline its G2E Asia stand with its trademarked slogan ‘Unleash Imagination’.
“For the first time in Asia, WMS is introducing our innovative Networked Gaming Portal family, the Ultra Hit Progressive™ Portal Application family, and other components of our WAGE-NET™ networked gaming solution to the Asian market,” says Sebastian Salat, President, WMS International.
Many of the product innovations being showcased, including the initial family of portal applications, allow casino operators potentially to drive higher coin-in, improve operational efficiencies and create slot floor differentiation.
A key point for industry customers, says Mr Salat, is that not only do these WMS technologies help casino operators differentiate themselves in the market, but they are also easy to adopt and are extremely cost-effective.

Premium new games featured include THE WIZARD OF OZ™ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ™; Alice™ and Attack from Mars™/Revenge from Mars™. Here are some of the highlights of what visitors will experience:
G+™ Deluxe Series—The G+ Deluxe series takes standard G+ game play to a whole new level of engaging experience via unique video, plus synchronised lighting and audio effects. It offers 30% larger, highly detailed reel symbols; exciting game play videos; optional game statistics showing wins and losses, amped-up win celebrations with ‘big win’, ‘super big win’ and ‘mega big win’ animations.
Alice™ Theme—The Alice theme takes the successful WMS Bonus Bank formula to a whole new level. Available in 30-line video and mechanical versions, the Alice theme comes packed with five unique, randomly triggered features available in both the Alice and the Mad Tea Party™ and Alice and the Enchanted Mirror™ themes. Additionally, each theme features a unique bonus round.
Attack From Mars™ / Revenge From Mars™—These are the newest games utilising the WMS Sensory Immersion gaming platform. They expand player engagement and allow players to ‘defend’ the Earth as humans or ‘destroy’ it as Martians, by playing two exciting Wild features and four comical bonus levels.

The WMS G2E Asia 2011 product demonstrations will mark the debut of the company’s networked gaming Portal Game Enablement technology in the Asian market. It gives operators the ability—thanks to the flexibility of networked gaming—to extend the life cycle of base game themes. It does this by adding new entertainment experiences on slot machines connected to the network. WMS will demonstrate a number of video and mechanical reel games enabled by the following Portal Application families at G2E Asia 2011:
Ultra Hit Progressive® Portal—The first commercially available WMS Portal Application family, available on both video and mechanical reel games, Ultra Hit Progressive adds a secondary mystery progressive bonus experience on top of most current WMS base game themes. The Jackpot Explosion™ bonus experience features a bubbling volcano that displays imminent jackpots on the base game screen, the gaming cabinet’s top screen, as well as on strategically located signage. As coin-in increases and the progressive triggers are approached, robust visuals of a volcano filling with lava are displayed and ambient sounds are amplified to celebrate the big win. Ultra Hit Progressive provides casino operators with the flexibility to implement either a bank-level execution or a full Networked Gaming solution.
MetaScreen™—Providing the first true competitive slot experience, this Portal Application family will debut with the Pirate Battle™ game, a 2-vs-2 Community Gaming™ competition theme available exclusively on banks of four Bluebird xD™ cabinets with special 32-inch overhead monitors. These monitors join to form a massive single screen on which a bonus cannon battle randomly occurs, as red and blue teams compete for credit and progressive awards.
