Singapore’s online programme for casino self-exclusion opened to foreign nationals

SINGAPORE: The National Council On Problem Gambling (NCPG) says from 24th November foreigners in Singapore can apply online for casino self exclusion and family exclusion from the NCPG.

Previously, only Singaporeans and permanent residents could apply online to exclude themselves from the casinos. While foreigners could apply for self-exclusion, they previously had to appear in person with a witness at the NCPG office and file manual applications.

Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) says it supports the NCPG initiative to extend casino exclusion to foreigners.

It adds that it is working closely with NCPG to work out the mechanics of enforcing this safeguard.

It has also been in touch with migrant worker groups on collaborative responsible gaming programmes for workers since March and hopes to be able to contribute in this effort.
